Schlottz’s Knots
Schlottz’s Knots (from “Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?”)
Ingredients:
11 oz. package of bread-stick dough (8 sticks) Cooking spray 2 Tbsp. water 3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese (grated)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Separate the dough into 8 sticks. Stretch one of the dough sticks until it is about 2 feet long and about as big around as two pencils. Tie the dough sticks into one, two or three knots and lay it on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Repeat with remaining dough sticks. Bake for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven, brush with a little water and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is golden.
