MARCO PORCEDDU, Food Editor
Native to the Sardinian Region of Italy, Marco Porceddu’s experience spans 25 years first working in the family business, to development of highly proclaimed restaurants and menus.Sought out by gaming mogul Steve Wynn, Porceddu created the award-winning fine dining restaurant Francesco, voted "Best Fine Dining" by Zagat. He was awarded "Best Hotel Chef of America" by the illustrious James Beard Foundation for his work at the restaurant.Porceddu developed two fine dining modern Italian restaurants, Tre Visi and Scala, for restaurant entrepreneur Franco Nuschese inside the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. He also owned and operated his own Zagat-nominated "Best Italian Restaurant" Bella Luna in Las Vegas.As president of Clearpoint Restaurant Solutions, Porceddu has consulted for such clients as Mr. Chow, the Station Casinos and MGM Mirage Corporation. One of Clearpoint Restaurant Solutions current projects includes a new boutique style restaurant in Los Angeles on Sunset Strip.
