Thieves are hitting drive-through windows are becoming easy spots to steal customer's credit cards, police said.

Yukon, Okla., officers arrested two women for stealing bank card information from customers at fast food restaurant windows, reported TV station KOCO.

Kim Mock was one of the people who said her card was stolen during a trip to a Wendy's drive-through. She said she accidentally drove away without her debit card.

"I'm thinking I put it back in my checkbook," she said. "And I didn't even think about it."

She said she noticed new charges for gasoline and groceries on her account the next day.

Police said they traced the stolen card back to a 19-year-old Wendy's employee who was caught on camera at a gas pump.

"She got off work at 2 p.m. and started using it at 2:14," Mock said.

At a Long John Silver's across the street, police said there was a similar but unrelated case. A worker wrote down a debit card number and used it to by Metallica concert tickets.

Mock said she wouldn't be surprised to see more of these drive-through crimes.

"I think you might see more of it with the way the economy is," she said. "People are just hurting for money right now."

Experts recommend bank card users make sure they leave drive-through windows with the card. They also suggest signing up for online banking and regularly checking account activity.
