Washington Nationals (36-61) At Atlanta Braves (46-50), 1:35 P.m.

(Sports Network) - Young lefty Jo-Jo Reyes tries again to snap out of a career-worst funk today when the Atlanta Braves host the Washington Nationals to close out a three-game series at Turner Field.

Reyes, who reached the majors and was 2-2 in 11 appearances - 10 starts - for the Braves in 2007, was 2-1 this year after a 5-2 defeat of the Oakland Athletics on May 18 in Atlanta.

He's won just once in 10 starts since, however, dropping seven decisions overall and four in a row.

In fact, he's failed to get to five innings in his two most recent chances, lasting just 4 1/3 innings in a loss to Houston July 5 and four innings in losing to San Diego July 11.

The lone win in the stretch came June 13 in Anaheim against the Los Angeles Angels.

Reyes has never faced the Nationals.

Meanwhile, veteran lefty Odalis Perez faces the team with whom he reached the majors back in 1998.

Perez, an undrafted free agent, made 10 relief appearances with Atlanta in 1998 and stayed two more seasons before heading to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2002, where he won a career-best 15 games that season and 12 more in 2003.

He was 11-15 in 52 overall outings for the Braves, including 33 starts.

Perez is 1-3 in eight career appearances - seven starts - against Atlanta, and is 0-3 in five starts overall since a 6-4 win at San Diego on May 28.

On Saturday, Willie Harris went 3-for-5 with a triple and two runs batted in, John Lannan threw six solid innings, and Washington dominated Atlanta, 8-2.

Lannan (6-9) allowed just one run on seven hits, walked three and struck out four as the Nationals snapped a three-game losing streak. Lannan pick up his second win in as many starts, and over his last three outings has given up just four runs in 18 innings.

Cristian Guzman finished 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBI, while Paul Lo Duca had two hits and two RBI for Washington.

Jair Jurrjens (9-5) took the loss after surrendering five runs on eight hits in 6 1/3 frames, though he walked just one and struck out five. He has alternated wins and losses over his past four starts for Atlanta.

Greg Norton homered, while Gregor Blanco went 3-for-5, as the Braves had a three-game win streak halted with the loss.

These divisional foes have met 10 times previously this season, with the Nationals winning six of those games. The clubs split a two-game series at Turner Field back in April.

Washington did lose in seven of nine visits to Atlanta last season, however.
