We are currently seeking a Director, News Production.

Requirements for qualified candidates:

Summary: Responsible for directing fast-paced, high energy live newscasts. Responsible for training and supervising Production Specialists.

Experience: Two (2) years experience switching, directing or assistant directing live TV news.

Education: High school graduate. College degree in related field preferred.

Skills:

Must know how to run character generator for News, operate audio board, switch on a switcher & Direct with field & studio experience.
Grass Valley experience preferred.
Must be proficient in non-linear editing, satellite operations and commercial dubbing.
Must be calm, must have good customer service skills, and have the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Must be computer proficient. Must have strong leadership skills.
