Conan O'Brien Begins Tour, Hits Vegas May 1
Tour Runs From April To June
On the day he announced a new late-night show on TBS, Conan O’Brien kicked off a nationwide stand-up comedy tour that includes two performances in Las Vegas.O’Brien will bring his “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television” tour to the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms resort May 1-2.Tickets are on sale now at the “Team Coco” Web site.The tour is being promoted as a “Night of music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence.”O’Brien announced Monday he will be launching a new 11 p.m. show on TBS, creating a two-hour late-night block with comedian George Lopez, who will move his show to midnight.“In three months I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I’m headed to basic cable. My plan is working perfectly,” said O’Brien.It’s unknown whether O’Brien can appear on television to promote the comedy tour, but look for continued updates on MORE weekdays at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
