This season, “American Idol” fans can tell the world just how much they love the show, with the launch of the “Idol Fans” video campaign.

Fans are being asked to submit their video testimonials at the show’s Web site for a chance to appear in the promotional campaign for the upcoming season.

The campaign is open to fans 18 and older, and there are specific guidelines that must be followed, including no use of copyrighted music, no signs or artwork.

Fans are simply asked to describe their favorite moment, singer or judge from season’s past and what they’re looking forward when the next group of young talent takes the stage in Hollywood.

“American Idol” season nine begins with a two-night premiere Tuesday, Jan 12 on FOX5.
