JANIS WEBER, Women’s Health Editor

After years of figure skating and downhill skiing, Janis began working in the fitness field in 1985 as a certified group exercise instructor. When she arrived in Las Vegas with her young family in 1988, she went to work at what was then Green Valley Athletic Club, now, ClubSport Green Valley. She has enjoyed 21 years there as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, in addition to serving as Group Fitness Director and Wellness Director.

Janis brings years of experience working with people of all ages as they live out their health and fitness goals. Her clients love the way she motivates them with focused attention, effective, creative exercises, and useful information.

Certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Janis trains her clients using a functional approach to fitness. She says the core comes first and designs exercises that train the body from the inside out. She inspires her clients to maintain their health and strength, not just for appearance, but for lifelong physical independence.

Janis’ curiosity leads her to research a wide variety of health topics as she seeks relevant information to share with her clientele, and now, with Fox 5 More viewers.

Janis welcomes Fox 5 viewers to tour the club and say Hi. Contact her via email at janis.weber@clubsports.com
