MICHAEL BOYCHUCK, Celebrity Stylist

Salon Partner of COLOR -- A Salon by Michael Boychuck at Caesars Palace and Co-owner of AMP Salon at the Palms Resort and PRIMP in Palms Place

In January 2008, Caesars Palace partnered with celebrity colorist Michael Boychuck to create COLOR -- A Salon by Michael Boychuck, the most luxurious and sophisticated salon experience in Las Vegas. Within the walls of COLOR every experience is highlighted with excellence, from spa-style salon services such as loveseat pedicures, a lather lounge and an in-house “hair florist,” to personal shopping services and an upbeat and tantalizing vibe set by a live D.J. spinning rhythms on the weekends. Boychuck’s newest venture is PRIMP, located in the new lush Palms Place.

Boychuck’s career began in Beverly Hills under the mentorship of world-renowned stylist José Eber. Best known for his long-time clients and friends, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Boychuck and his salons have an impressive celebrity client roster that include Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Eva Longoria, Kirsten Dunst, Fergie of The Black Eyes Peas, Jennie Garth, Willa Ford, Shannon Doherty, Donna D’Errico, Josie Bissett, Kathy Hilton and Susan Anton.

He ignited the salon industry in Las Vegas when he opened Laurent D’s famed Beverly Hills Salon, Prive, at Bellagio. Following Prive, Boychuck became the salon and color director of Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Venetian. There he proved not only his skill as a colorist, but as a businessman -- managing a large staff, developing new treatments and exceeding revenue projections. It was his success at Canyon Ranch that led to his partnership with Maloof and the creation of AMP Salon. When “colorist to the stars” Michael Boychuck partnered with George Maloof to open Las Vegas’ uber-hip salon AMP in the Palms Casino Resort, he set the standard for luxury, service and style -- and cemented his reputation as the city’s ultimate authority in beauty.

Boychuck employs the top stylists from salons around the nation and engenders a trendy atmosphere that is attractive to a customer list that includes celebrities, high rollers and Las Vegas movers and shakers. On any day at COLOR, visitors leave with great hair, fabulous eyebrows and a tidbit of juicy celebrity gossip.

Most recently, Michael Boychuck was featured on the entertainment news program “Extra,” as well as the hit MTV reality show “Paris Hilton’s my New BFF,” where he transformed one of the BFF candidates into a Paris look-alike by lightening her brunette locks to Paris’ signature blonde hue. Boychuck has been renowned for his talents as a colorist in Paris Hilton’s new book “Confessions Of An Heiress,” where Hilton attributes her stunning blond locks to Boychuck. AMP and Boychuck also receive accolades in the new book by Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Norm Clarke, “Vegas Confidential” quoting Robin Leach, “When in Vegas start with the hair by checking in with colorist-to-the-stars Michael Boychuck at COLOR at Caesars Palace or the AMP Salon at Palms.” Boychuck has received recognition from such organizations as Hair Color USA and Intercoiffure. Allure Magazine named him one of the top colorists in America. His work has been featured on the covers of Playboy, Maxim and several celebrity hair magazines. Additionally, Boychuck’s television credits include such shows as "Melrose Place," "Pacific Blue," "Baywatch" and the "Young and the Restless."

“I create color that accentuates my clients' individual personalities and lifestyles," says Boychuck. “My goal is to enhance my clients' inner and outer beauty, not transform them into someone they are not." His philosophy is working.
