Cinevegas To Showcase Films Premiered Over 10 Years

LAS VEGAS -- The “CineVegas From the Vault” screening series, presented by the CineVegas Film Festival and the Las Vegas–Clark County Library District, continues this fall.It will showcase films that CineVegas has either premiered or shown throughout its 10-year history. The screenings are free and open to the public and will be held at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the Clark County Library at 1401 E. Flamingo Rd.“Breakfast With Hunter” will screen on Sept. 4. The documentary, which world premiered as the closing night film at the 2003 festival, tells the story of gonzo journalist Dr. Hunter S. Thompson.The series will continue on Oct. 2 with “Bubba Ho-Tep,” a world premiere at the 2002 Festival starring Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis as an aged Elvis Presley and John F. Kennedy in a run-down Texas nursing home.
