Valley residents will get a chance to see "Get Smart" as part of the CineVegas Film Festival activities, with proceeds going to The Rock Foundation.

Founded by one of the film's starts, Dwayne Johnson, The Rock Foundation provides programs designed to enrich and empower the lives and self-esteem of children worldwide. It also strives to enhance the current level of primary education and reduce barriers affecting student learning.

"This special screening of Get Smart is a win-win for everybody involved. Not only do we get to offer the city of Las Vegas a sneak peek of one of the summer’s most highly anticipated films, but a portion of proceeds benefiting the implementation of Project Knapsack at Reynaldo L. Martinez Elementary School in Las Vegas," said CineVegas President Robin Greenspun. "This event further cements CineVegas’ commitment to giving back to the local community, which has given so much support to the Festival over the past ten years."

Tickets for the benefit range from $25 to $45 and can be purchased by calling 1-888-8VEGAS8. A limited number of sponsorship packages, including a meet and greet with Dwayne Johnson, may also be purchased.
