JAMES WILCOX, Fitness Editor

James Wilcox has been active in the health and fitness industry for 19 years. He competed on the swimming and track teams in high school and college, attending the University of Cambridge (UK), University of Redlands, and the London School of Economics, winning various scholarships and awards for academic and athletic excellence. During this time, he also enjoyed activities like Scuba Diving, Triathlons, Beach Lifeguarding, Sky Diving, and National Ski Patrol.

After college, he served as a Commissioned Naval Officer for five years, surviving the Navy SEALS infamous 'Hellweek', deploying throughout Europe and the Middle East, participating in Operations Enduring Freedom and Allied Force, and later overseaing daily hardcore 'weed-out' physical training sessions for classes of prospective SEAL Officers from the Naval Academy, the Citadel, and ROTC.

After completing his commitment to the U.S. Navy and being honorably discharged, he worked as a personal trainer for Gold's Gym in the evenings while teaching various body/phisiology classes at Georgetown School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins Medical School.

In his third year as an accredited Teaching Associate, James left the Washington D.C. area to join the cast of Chippendales here in Las Vegas at the Rio. As a Lead Dancer, Wilcox has the opportunity to showcase how two decades of intense body training, nutritious eating, and healthy lifestyle have developed his body. He looks forward to sharing all he's learned with Fox Viewers. For more info on James, log onto www.Chippendales.com
