How can I get video copies of FOX5 newscasts or MORE broadcast?

FOX5 cannot fulfill requests for copies of video, stories or entire broadcasts. You may contact TV Monitoring Service at 702.386.0862 to purchase copies.

How do I request a FOX5 on-air personality for a speaking engagement?

You can request a speaker by filling out the Public Appearance Request Form (see attached) at least 6 weeks prior to your event. Due to the high demand of public appearance requests all applications can not be approved. FOX5 reserves the right to cancel a public appearance if the information is incorrect, changed or modified without prior written notice. FOX5 reserves the right to cancel and or reschedule a public appearance due to breaking news. All pubic appearance requests MUST go through this process. Please do not contact on air personalities directly. A public appearance by a FOX5 personality does not guarantee promotion or coverage of the event.

Your requests will be reviewed and an approval letter or email will be sent within 7 to 10 working days, if approved.

Do you offer tours of your tv station?

Yes, we do. Tours are free and are offered on the third Thursday of every month between the hours of 9am and 12noon.

Tours must be booked at least 4 weeks prior to requested date. (May be re-schedule by FOX5 due to breaking news or other unforeseen circumstances. 24-hour confirmation call is recommended for group.)

Tours available to groups of students 4th grade and older ONLY due to insurance liability.

Limit of 15 people to a group. One chaperone per 5 students for 4th – 10th grade.

Tours must be requested and approved by FOX5 Marketing Department.

No tour group is allowed in any part of the building without station personnel.

Will you run my Public Service Announcement?

Yes, FOX5 does air PSA’s that are locally and nationally produced. However, due to the large amount of requests, not all Public Service Announcement spots are able to run. In order to submit a PSA for consideration:

Your PSA must already be professionally produced on BetaSP with broadcast quality mandatory. (Tape is not returned)

Your PSA must be accompanied by 501(c) paperwork and flight dates (dates you wish to have the PSA air)

Your paperwork must include a contact name / number.

FOX5 can not guarantee any airtime for submitted PSA’s.

FOX5 will not track your PSA for dates and/or airtimes nor guarantee a certain number of runs.

If approved for air, FOX5 will make every effort to air your PSA within the targeted demographic it best fits.This is NOT guaranteed.

FOX5 will review your PSA and paperwork for consideration. A PSA submission does not guarantee airtime.
