Fair Helps Residents Make Energy Changes

Nevada Power will conduct a free Energy Conservation Fair from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 10 at the Springs Preserve Crossroad Commons Amphitheater.

Attendees will receive a free compact fluorescent lamp, and the first 100 people will also get a free home energy consultation.

Experts will provide information and demonstrations on refrigerator recycling, solar generation and home weatherization. It’s also a chance to learn about Zero Energy Homes and speak with companies about our many conservation programs and rebates.

Mention the Nevada Power Energy Conservation Fair at entry for a discount to the Preserve’s museum.

For more information, visit the Springs Preserve Web site.
