Community Calendar Submission Guidelines
Guidelines For Submitting Community Events To The FOX5 CalendarKVVU FOX5 offers the Community Calendar to support local charitable efforts in Southern Nevada, with a primary focus on community events and activities for the attendance of the general public. To be considered for the community calendar, an organization must:
- Be a registered IRS 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. FOX5’s Community Calendar is not available to individuals or to fundraising efforts for the benefit of a single individual.
Be located in Southern Nevada, where FOX5 is broadcasted.
Identify the event/activity to be included on the Community Calendar. Include the organization:
- Name Date of event/activity Cost (if applicable) The purpose of the event/activity Contact information for the organization: name, phone number and e-mail address
- All requests are reviewed weekly by FOX5.
A response will be sent via email or phone approximately four weeks following receipt of the request if it is selected to be included in FOX5’s Community Calendar.
FOX5 Community Calendar requests are evaluated based on the organization's ability to meet FOX5’s guidelines, with consideration of prior commitments made to organizations with a similar purpose.
The FOX5 Community Calendar is not designed to promote political, religious, or labor/fraternal organizations; sporting leagues or clubs; schools; or individuals.
FOX5 reserves the right to decline any request received, per the established guidelines and/or space availability.
