Cash For Appliances Program

On the heels of the summertime "Cash for Clunkers" program, another government program is set to roll out this winter: "Cash for Appliances." The $300 million program, funded through the federal government's economic stimulus plan, will offer rebates for recycling eligible appliances and buying new Energy Star replacements. Each state is administering the "Cash for Appliances" program separately and will have its own individual rules and eligibility information. Check this page frequently as states release their plans for the new program.
